We offer a mix of in Studio and Online live stream classes. Prepaid pre-bookings only to attend online or studio classes as we have a limit on how many students can attend.

Cancellations and reschedules done anytime UP TO 2 hours before the start of the class will be granted. Cancellations can't be made after that 2 hour cutoff. No refunds for missing a booked class.

Prior to starting the class, advise your teacher if you have any health problems, injuries or are menstruating or pregnant.

  • Please STAY HOME if you are feeling unwell

  • Please bring your own mat and props if possible

  • Bring a TOWEL

  • Try to arrive 10 minutes before the class start time, use provided hand sanitiser before and after class

  • Please switch off mobile phones and leave your shoes at the front door before entering the class

  • If it is your first time at the studio you will need to fill out a waiver form

  • Please comply with one person per 4 square metres when setting up your mat. There are markings on the wall for safe mat placement

  • All props used will need to be cleaned before and after class with detergent and disinfectant 

  • Practice with an open mind and respect for all fellow students

ONLINE ZOOM CLASSES

  •  Set up your mat about 3m away from the camera

  • Place your mat parallel to the camera, preferably with a blank wall behind you

  • Wear different coloured clothing to the wall behind you

  • Set your camera up on some height (eg table, chair) about 1/2m off the floor and angle the camera

  • Check that your whole body is visible when both standing and sitting.

  • Shift excess furniture & items away so your space is clear.

  • Props needed: Mat, and if possible, 2 blocks, 1 belt, 1 bolster,  2 blankets and a chair (not necessarily a yoga chair)

DESCRIPTION OF CLASSES

Beginners

For first timers to yoga and the Iyengar method or for those who simply want to ease back into practice.  Classes are focused on introducing and consolidating yoga foundations. Suitable for people of all ages and any levels of fitness.

open level

Designed for all levels of students, every student will be integrated into the class. Whether a beginner, limited in movement or more experienced in practice, the class will be designed that you can work at your level.

For students with some Iyengar yoga experience who have attended at least one of our 6 week Beginners courses. These classes are aimed at developing further confidence in poses and refining techniques.

General

RESTORATIVE

This restorative yoga class facilitates deep relaxation, to help us restore and renew energy levels. With the use of props we will explore various poses to support the body enabling a deeper sense of relaxation, giving the brain the opportunity to quieten, and enabling both the body and mind to repair, restore and revitalise itself. This class is suitable for all levels of experience.

meditation
